Ed Sanders III is a lifelong resident of Columbia County. Currently, he resides in Mt. Pleasant Township and owns a five and a half acre property in Orange Township as well. Ed is a graduate of Central Columbia High School. He attended Bloomsburg University where he studied Business Management and Finance and later earned a degree from the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Landscape and Horticulture Technology with an emphasis in Landscape Management and Design.
Currently, Ed works as an Operations and Project Manager in the Landscape Industry and oversees an approximate 17 million dollar budget each year. Additionally, he serves as the Assistant Director of Co-Curricular Activities for the Central Columbia School District.
Ed’s service to community includes; previously organizing American Red Cross blood drives, dance marathons for pediatric cancer, organizing volunteers and raising funds for local flood relief efforts, and volunteering in many local youth sports organizations.
He’s a member of the Bloomsburg Fair Association, the Sons of the American Legion – Post 273 of Bloomsburg, and Oriental Lodge #460 in Orangeville.
Ed enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, live music, and spending time with his family and friends. He’s an avid sports fan as well.
Ed would be honored to serve the people of Columbia County as their Commissioner.
