Vince DeMelfi for Bloomsburg Town Council

"I am a candidate for re-election to Town Council, and I respectfully ask for your vote on May 16. When I was first elected, I was proud to support a Non-Discrimination Ordinance for Bloomsburg, making us a welcoming community for all people! I also promised to have no personal agenda, but rather to support the needs and wants of our citizens.

With your input, some of the projects that I supported included the establishment of our popular Dog Park, the renovation of our Town Pool (which will open next month), and the construction of a beautiful walk/bike River Trail. You have also asked for our roads to be improved, and this summer we will see almost a third of all Town roads get repaved! 

My hope for the next term is that working with our state & county officials, and thanks to Pres. Biden’s Infrastructure Bill, we will obtain the 29 million dollars to finally build the flood wall to protect the West End.
