Brenda Lupini was appointed as Chief Deputy Register & Recorder in August 1998. After
holding that position for over 13 years she was elected as Register of Wills and Recorder of Deeds for her first four-year term beginning January 1, 2012, a second term beginning January 1, 2016, a third term beginning January 1, 2020 and is now running for her fourth term.
The Register & Recorder is responsible for the care, custody and security of Columbia County’s many records relating to Probate Estate matters and Real Estate transfers.
Brenda has been working diligently to make more of these records available online and with all of the advancements in technology in the recent years, the security of these records is of the upmost importance to her.
She strives to provide the best customer service, information and knowledge to the public and has a true love for her job.
